Arrosaires' ProductionArrossaires del Delta de l'Ebre sows seeds in over 7,000 Ha in the rice fields of the Ebro Delta. Its more than 2000 farmers harvest over 45 million kg of paddy rice, which is then converted into more than 27 million kg of round rice.

Around 120 million kg of paddy rice are harvested. This is processed in the milling plants and is converted into around 70 million kg of round rice, fit for consumption.

The Ebro Delta's production accounts for 98.5% of all the rice produced in Catalonia, and 20% of that produced in Spain. The main varieties produced in the Ebro Delta are Bahía, Senia and Tebre, which are all semi-long grain rices, characterised by their great capacity for absorption (allowing them to take on the flavours of other ingredients).
